Rare Art Deco Haagse School Church Bench Letter M, ca 1930
About the Item
Beautiful and rare Art Deco Cubist design Bench with the letter M on both sides.
Made of oak with parts that are blackened as you often see in the designs of the Hague School.
At the back 2 flaps with locks of which the keys are missing and the buttons are not original.
The wood at the hinges has also suffered some damage over time, they are still functional (please see the photo's).
The letter M is unique because every row had its own letter, so you will never find a second piece.
