Wonderful and rare Art Deco Haagse School bench or sofa. Design by Willem Penaat for Metz & Co. Amsterdam Striking Dutch design from the 1930s. Solid oak frame with black lacquered lining and re-upholstered with red Manchester corduroy. Marked with original manufacturers tag. In very good condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, Preserving a beautiful patina.
