Charles & Ray Eames Black Original Plywood Group LCM Chair for Vitra, 1999

About the Item

Lounge chair designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Vitra, 1999. The Vitra LCM Chair, designed by Charles and Ray Eames, is the result of years of experimentation in which the designers were looking for new processes to adapt three-dimensionally molded plywood to the body shapes as closely as possible. The result was the Plywood Group, where both the seat and the backrest are made of plywood and rests on a metal frame. The organic shape and the warmth of the wood invite you to relax.
