Pair Antique Georgian Carved Oak Country Medieval Side Chairs King's Head 1760

About the Item

A rare and unusual pair of antique country Georgian carved oak side chairs, circa 1760. The chairs are from the reign of king George III and they are carved in the Medieval Revival style, the back rests & back splats are deeply carved. To the center of each chair is a carved panel of a king below a gothic arch, both the legs and stretchers have corresponding carving. Both chairs have a rich darker yet warm & mellow patina, condition is very good both chairs are robust and stable and ready to grace your home.
