savonarola Red Throne chair. built in the 1960s in the renaissance style. armrests with carved lion heads. back carved with renaissance decorative motifs. the chair originally walnut color, was repainted for the purpose of use in a theatrical piece, in the 1970s with enamel color and a light silvering in the background. the chair is folding. the enameling is rough, but sure to have a scenic effect. the frame is solid and sturdy. the wood is all solid.
