About the Item

A Mid Century chaise lounge designed by Paul McCobb for Directional in the 1950s. This modernist piece stands on four tapered, lacquered wood legs and has beautiful patinated brass detailing along the base. It has one left arm support and retains its original striped silk fabric with orange, coral and green hues. Four matching pillows complete this beauty. Unmarked. USA, 1950s.

    Wear consistent with age and use. Great vintage condition. Some patina to the metal base and wear to the wooden legs. Reupholstery recommended. Some pulls in fabric and one area of minor tear along the top corner.
