Lounge Chair, Chaise Longue and Daybed by Georges Tigien

About the Item

3 Positions "Dormeuse" armchair which can also be used as a deckchair and a rest bed, design by Georges Tigien circa 1960. Black lacquered beechwood structure (traces of use and missing paint in some places, see detail pictures) and plastic threads called "scoubidou". Originally distributed by Roche Bobois, Minvielle and Farniente. This piece of furniture can be used in three different ways, it can be totally unfolded to become a daybed, a deckchair or a low armchair. It is necessary to imagine covering the plastic threads with cushions which are not supplied, we leave the choice to the buyers for the dimensions and the type of textile. It can be two or three separate cushions or one large cushion folded into an armchair position and unfolded for the daybed.
