18th C. Carved Mahogany Corner Chair
About the Item
Finely crafted with a tub shaped back with a carved, curved and raised crest rail and scrolled arm ends. Openwork vasiform splats on the sides and turned arm supports. Raised on square legs with a flat X stretcher. Along with a slip seat upholstered in a pale velveteen fabric.
H. 32", W. seat 24", W. arms 30", Depth 26", seat H. 19"
Condition: Please see detail photos. There is age-related finish and wood loss and some wear to the top edge of the crest rail and scrape on the top back, spot on the seat however presenting in an authentic manner.
