Reconstruction oak and fabric daybed by Rene Gabriel 1950s

About the Item

Reconstruction daybed from Rene Gabriel originating from the 50s. The bed has a solid oak frame and features a remarkable design for the headends. The headends have been lifted and the internal geometry of the headends is quite interesting with a 3-3 slatted raster. The bed is built very solid and features a metal underlayment for the matras, in original condition.
