(8) Adrian Pearsall Kodiak Faux Fur Brutalist Style Dining Room Chairs

About the Item

This listing is for the group of 8 chairs. The matching table is sold separately. You won't find a nicer (or larger) restored set of these Adrian Pearsall Brutalist Dining Chairs anywhere. The FMV restoration team covets this unique line and labors with love through techniques perfected over the years. We had these professionally reupholstered in a faux-fur smoky-grey kodiac fabric that's soft and plush like a teddy bear. The results speak for themselves. Please compare our competitors offerings closely to see the difference we offer. Dining chairs are rarely this comfortable, and the soft, teddy-bear fabric only makes them more cozy. The rippled pattern style fabric adds to the boldness of these stately high-back dining chairs. The sinister, super-heavy brutalist goop "X" bases are perfectly contrasted with the plushness of the fabric. We struggled to find the appropriate upholstery for these chairs, but the final product looks stunning. The fabric has variations in tones that change according to your vantage point. The nap can lay in one direction or another and appear grey, brown, ash and many variations in between. The fabric came off the roll with some scarring lines (see pics) that only add to the brutalist charm and don't detract from the overall restoration. Impressive and hard to find Adrian Pearsall for Craft Associates Brutalist Dining Chairs with gold resin "X" bases. The elaborately decorated resin surfaces were borrowed from Paul Evans premium Brutalist studio pieces. The resin on these chairs has a goopy, heavily textured surface mimicking molten metal. Although made of resin, the surface looks metallic with gunmetal gray, bronze, gold, and black tones. The timelessness of these pieces cannot be overstated. An investment that is certain to appreciate over time. This set of eight dining room chairs feature two captain's chairs with arms and six armless chairs. Matching dining table and credenza are available (sold separately). We have several more pieces from this Craft Associates Brutalist collection that include a matching wall mounted bar, etagere, lounge chairs and loveseats.
