Vintage Omersa for Abercrombie & Fitch Rhino or Rhinoceros Leather Footstool

About the Item

A fine vintage leather footstool. Designed by Daniel Omersa for Abercrombie & Fitch in the 1960's. In the form of a standing rhinoceros with its signature folded eyes, floppy ears, and button feet. Having a wonderfully aged finish with wear in all the right places. Simply a wonderful iconic leather footstool! Date: 20th Century Overall Condition: It is in overall good, as-pictured, used estate condition. Condition Details: With some minor expected splits & fissures in the leather (most notably to the back & sides), a bit of tearing in the ears, wear to the ears, horn, and some of the high points throughout, and a few spots of opening seams (noted at the ears & tip of the horn). One back leg is a bend in a bit, making it just a bit tippy. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
