1950ies Italian Organic Lounge Chair in Wool Upholstery

About the Item

Organic 1950ies lounge chair in wool upholstery. Beautiful Italian easy lounge chair, re-upholstered in off-white wool fabric with 2cm pile. With it’s organic seat shell in contrast to the steel base this chair offers great comfort and elegance. It is upholstered with new wool fabric that remains in good vintage condition and it shows few signs of use and slight signs of wear. The wool upholstery gives it it’s warm and inviting appearance and reminds us of other Italian mid-century seating furniture of the period. The chair’s inner, funnel-shaped construction is made from molded plywood, which requires a mold and great manufacturing skills. We can further offer to reupholster this chair on request in a fabric of your personal choice.
