Organic 1950s Madame Lounge Chair in Boucle Designed by Fritz Neth, 1955

About the Item

Organic 1950ies Madame lounge chair in Boucle designed by Fritz Neth 1955 Extraordinary high back Lounge chair, designed by Fritz Neth for Correcta in 1955. Reupholstered in high-quality off-white Boucle‘ fabric. With it’s beautiful organic seat shell in contrast to the four steel legs, the Madame chair offers great comfort and and an extraordinary elegance. The chair is in great condition and is completely re-upholstered in a Italian high-quality Boucle’ fabric and with new latex foam inlay, due to its original design. The reupholstery process of this Modell requires great craftsmanship due to the necessity that all seems require hand-stichting only, which was done by our experienced upholsterer. We have carefully reconstructed the original shape to meet the elegance and comfort of this outstanding example of German post-war furniture design. The inner construction, which is outstanding at the time, is welded from metal which gives it the necessary stability and allowed Fritz Neth to give it it’s elegant outlines. We can further offer to reupholster this chair to your personal choice on request in a fabric of your choice and have two more of these chairs in stock, which will extend delivery time for about two months.
