About the Item

Danish 1950's easy chair in the style of France & Daverkosen. Unmarked, however and we are uncertain about the Designer and maker. Sturdy and strong. The wood shows great grain and color and has been lightly refinished. The epitome of "Danish Modern". The original fabric shows a lot of wear and fading and need to be replaced. We offer reupholstery services on this chair at very competitive prices.

This is especially true for Denmark, and this beautiful high-back chair is a great representation of the quality and craftsmanship of Danish master cabinetmakers. “Danish Modern” is a recognized term around the world standing for the characteristic style of Danish design created during the mid-20th century.
