About the Item

the france lounge was designed by Finn Juhl in the 1950's and produced in Denmark by France & Daverkorsen. this chair is an earlier example of the design and it is in excellent condition. the sculptural armrests taper to 'knife edge' exterior while undulating from front to back. Afromosia teak wood with wine red wool upholstery in excellent condition . Professional, skilled furniture restoration is an integral part of what we do every day. Our goal is to provide beautiful, functional furniture that honors its illustrious past. Our restoration workshop is continuously refining ways to clean and restore while still preserving the patina that quality vintage furniture so patiently acquires.
