Hans J. Wegner Lounge Chair AP 72 in Oak and Pierre Frey fabric for AP Stolen

About the Item

A hard to find folding Lounge chair designed by Hans J. Wegner for A.P. Stolen, Denmark. This ingeniously designed chair with beautiful details can be folded and the seating position and headrest are adjustable in three ways. The solid Oak frame is in very good condition and cleaned / waxed to preserve the wood for the next decades. The cushions are reupholstered in a beautiful Pierre Frey fabric with a geometric modernist pattern designed by Elise Djo-Bourgeois in 1930. The graphic composition of the fabric matches very well with the strong lines of the chair design.
