Leather and Chrome Lounge Chairs in the Style of Florence Knoll, 1960s, Pair
About the Item
Nice pair of leather and chrome lounge chairs in the style of Florence Knoll, circa 1958-1962.
We bought these elegant chairs in France and they have a nice construction quality to them.
The leather seat and back cushions are supported on high quality original 'Pirelli' rubber webbing in an elegant cream tone which we have completely renewed.
The seat and backrest cushions have also been freshly reupholstered in cream leather with new internal Latex foam.
The chromed steel frames show aging and minor chrome pitting consistent with its age preserving a wonderful original's patina giving these chairs an honest vintage character and proving their authenticity

A very elegant pair of Mid-Century Modern lounge chairs that would make an interesting alternative to Mies' ubiquitous 'Barcelona' chair.

- Condition:Rewoven. Reupholstered. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor losses. The upholstery has been completely renovated with new high quality 'Pirelli' rubber webbing, new foam and new leather upholstery. The chromed frames are polished and show minor pitting and chrome loss consistent with age preserving its authenticity.
