An extremely rare set of matching high back lounge chairs model 314 by the legendary American designer Paul McCobb for Directional Furniture, circa 1950s. With its stylish pointed wings, distinctive angles, gentle curves, and its splayed and tapered legs. The chairs reupholstered in an off-white velvet, which contrasts nicely with the ebonized frames. The unique design of these chairs make them true statement pieces which offer an unparalleled level of comfort and a perfect fit in a library setting.
