1950s Eames RKR Rocking Wire Side Chair with Yellow Hopsak original cover.

About the Item

An iconic RKR Rocking wire side chair designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller. This chair retains its original birch runners and original yellow hopsak fabric. The black iron frame pops off the vibrant yellow. Hard to find these with their original runners. Dimensions:19”W x 26.75”H x 27.25”D SH17” Condition:Original runners show bumps and bruises and wear to high points. Hopsak fabric shows light soiling. Most notable the base is missing two mounting tabs. New tabs could be welded on or the quick solution would be zip ties. Shipping: This chair will have the base removed and will be shipped by FedEx. It will require assembly.
