Eames RAR Rocking Chair by Zenith for Herman Miller

About the Item

The early Zenith shells are distinctive for their high fiber content and larger, more substantial rubber shock mounts, a translucent quality to the fiberglass. RAR was the designation given chairs with the rocking base. This fine rocker is all original and has some of the most desirable features: the shell was red and has faded to a beautiful coral color and the black wire base has birch runners in original condition, all with a beautiful patina.
