Italian Venetian Baroque carved walnut sofa, Circa 1740. Expertly constructed with hand-carved walnut in the popular and romantic Italian Baroque period, the padded and domed back is joined by dramatic hand carved out-swept padded arms. the shaped cushioned seat above an apron raised on cabriole legs with scrolled toes. This stunning Venetian sofa has tons of personality and charm and is solid and sturdy. Remnants of old label affixed to the back. Ready to enhance any setting, home or office.
