Pair of George I Style Late 19th Century Giltwood and Leather Side Chairs

About the Item

A finely drawn pair of late 19th century giltwood and embossed leather side chairs in the George I Style. English Circa 1880-1900. Each having domed waisted embossed leather upholstered backs above stuff over seats, on giltwood hipped acanthus leaf carved and pierced front cabriole legs with central recessed carved shell. A very good quality pair of decorative side chairs with a wonderful colour to the giltwork. Provenance : Private English Collection Dimensions Width 25 1/2 inches - 65cm Height 47 1/2 inches - 121cm Depth 27 inches - 69cm Seat height 18 inches - 46cm.
