Antique Slipper Chair Early 19th Century

About the Item

An interesting early 19th century slipper chair of small proportions, retaining original needlework upholstery, English, circa 1835. The chair provides a useful and versatile low seating, it may be used in a conventional way or straddled, its back providing support for elbows, it retains its original needlework upholstery in faded and distressed but usable condition. We can recover the chair at buyer's request.
