Hello,
This fine and elegant Viennese Biedermeier walnut sofa was made circa 1825-30.
Viennese Biedermeier is distinguished by their sophisticated proportions, rare and refined design and excellent craftsmanship and continue to have a great influence on modern design.
The sofa has a lovely highly figured walnut book-matched veneer accentuated by a deep amber tone and 200 years old patina.
It sits well and is very comfortable. The springs give great seating comfort and the upholstery is in very good condition.
