Caipira Stool by Francisco Fanucci , 2022, Marcenaria Baraúna

About the Item

Design:Francisco Fanucci Material:Solid Wood Stool designed by Francisco Fanucci in 1988. It is designed around the theme of "sentar brasileiro brazilian seating". It is said to have been inspired by the stools used in the Brazilian countryside to keep warm by a wood stove, a traditional indigenous craft. The angle of the wood on the seat allows the stool to fit and support the body in a position similar to a squatting posture. Small and practical, it can be placed by the fireplace or used as an entryway stool. Due to the assortment of solid wood, there are individual differences.
