About the Item
This stool in shearling and walnut is very cute and very soft. It's also nice to sit on. We source a quality sheepskin with long, wavy fleece. The legs are angled and gently flare as they reach the ground. We utilize one of the oldest methods of joinery in furniture making for joining the legs of these stools, the conical wedged tenon. The wedge detail is entirely hidden under the sheepskin but it is still the best way to build for longevity. These stools are built to last. They are available in a variety of domestic hardwoods and finished with a natural oil and wax. They are also available in different shearling colors with a minimum order of 2 stools.

Boyd & Allister
Boyd & Allister is a custom furniture studio located in Santa Fe, New Mexico. We have been hand making furniture for designers and architects around the country since 2010. We custom make each piece using traditional joinery methods and hand select each piece of wood. We source our wood from small sawyers around the country who bring the same level of care to their craft as we bring to ours. Many of our designs are inspired by mid century masters; timeless with clean lines, allowing the beauty of the wood to shine.

Seen in a white shearling but available in other colors if desired, minimum 2 stool order for custom colors
