1990 Green and Stained Cherrywood Bookshelf for Roche Bobois by Sormani, Italy

About the Item

This piece by designer Emilio Rossi has been manufactured by Sormani for the French distributor Roche Bobois. It is a very particular item, with special curved doors, that rotate by 180 degrees on a pivot and open or close either part of the container. The container has the shape of a wave, thus conferring to the element a completely different look according to how the door is positioned. The container structure has a brilliant pine green satin lacquer finish and the doors and two of the shelves are in aniegré walnut stained cherry. The other two shelves are in clear glass. If you prefer, you can have all the shelves in clear glass. Feet are not visible, and they are adjustable. The piece can be used as bookshelf or sideboard or cupboard to lighten up an entrance, a living or dining room or an office. The cabinet is in good conditions, with normal wear and tear.
