Pair of Early 19th Century Louis Philippe Period Mahogany Buffets, circa 1830

About the Item

A very attractive pair of early 19th century, circa 1830, Louis Philippe period solid mahogany buffets. Each is raised on reeded rectangular supports with a wide drawer at the base below two locking doors that open to interior shelves. At the apron are two drawers with carved handles and a central bronze keyhole. Above is a shelf held up by 'S' scrolled acanthus leaf design elements and twisted mahogany supports above and below the shelf.
