Black Chaos Cabinet with Furry Goatskin offcuts & Cast Aluminium by Atelier V&F
Located in 1204, CH
Before "The Crack in Chaos", Atelier V&F conceived an imagination of primordial rawness in "Revelation of Gaia". Based on this collection as the prelude, Atelier V&F is working to expand it into a majestic play, with the first act tracing back to the time before the birth of Gaia, to the start of everything, to the abyss cloaked with mysterious fog.
With Darkness, Disorder, Primordial Rawness and Birth as the keywords, the first act of this grand play is born. The Crack in Chaos is the moment when the shaft of light bursts out of the split of darkness that is the birth of universe and with it, space and concepts.
"Chaos Cabinet", rose and took shape from the flowing sliver metal, it creates a visual impact of anti-gravity, as if it marks the birth of something supernatural. The order of the linear cabinet...

By Aldo Tura
Located in Los Angeles, CA

His quality of craftsmanship which can be attributed to the limited series production, sometimes limited to only the prototype and often used unconventional materials including; eggshell, parchment, leather and wood veneering.
This fine original 1950s example was retailed by Blanch L. Markley Shoppe in Lima Ohio, which retailer label is present in pull out drawer. Featuring a Trompe-l'œil book-form with mirrored upper interior with glass shelving and interior lighting above a single pull-out drawer with large antique coin styled drawer pull. The exterior door is hand painted with a Renaissance styled scene. Sitting atop a black lacquered X-leg base with brass sabots.
This stunning 1950s Italian collectors piece can function as a bar cart, cocktail cabinet or dry bar and is an apt conversation starter, injecting some Italian chic in to any room concept. 21st Century "Surfaced Cabinet Moss" by Rem Atelier, Netherlands
By Rem Atelier
Located in London, GB
"Surfaced Cabinet Moss" by REM Atlier, 2021.
The clad cabinet combines different material characteristics into a functional sculpture. Thirty enamelled ceramic tiles shape the front surface of the cabinet, fusing into an organic relief that looks like a living structure embedded. Each tile has its own unique imprint and comes out of a different mold, creating a variety in shape and depth like a rhythm of fossils. The walnut foot is constructed from small vertical lines that follow the natural lines of the wood. The lines of the wood and the curves of the ceramic provide a graphic sense to the piece. Inspired by shapes that can be found in nature when different materials surprisingly grow together and take shape as a sculpture itself.
