Room '56 bedroom closet for Dico, 1950's
About the Item
This refined wooden bedroom closet was designed for the former and renowned Dutch bed manufacturer DICO in the 1950's. It was part of the 'Kamer 56' (translated: Room '56) serie, that also has furniture designed by Rob Parry. This cabinet has a light grey bottom, top and inside of the doors and a pastel yellow outside. It has 3 removable shelves at the left side, covered with cabinet paper, and a rod at the right side. The cabinet has 2 bended metal legs at the front and 2 wooden legs at the back that makes it very elegant and stylish alltogether. The contrasting black round handles with characteristic keys make this cabinet a true eyecatcher in your (bed) room! It is in a good and solid condition, with some signs of age and use, such as the disoloration of the paint.
