Antique Rococo Large Oak Chest of Drawers Painted Yellow, Denmark, circa 1800s

About the Item

Large rococo oak chest of 4 drawers with serpentine front resting on cabriolet feet. The four drawers each have 2 brass pulls and key hole bracket. Newer professionally applied layered paint of burnished yellow, with undertones of brown and gray that create an overall muted tone. Top painted in a contrasting black, entire chest lightly distressed to fit the age and character of the chest. Restored, drawers function and case is solid/sturdy ready for use. Any nicks, scratches, signs of wear are reflective of years of wear and use and do not impact function.
