Early 19th Century Oak Chest of Drawers
About the Item
A early 19th century provincial chest of drawers made from solid oak.
Laterally coffered oak body with three drawers, rounded corners and matching moulded top panel. Multiple curved moulded plinth frame with carved shell-shaped central cartouche and ending in 2 flared feet in the shape of a hoof. Three drawers with later added key plates and brass drop handles. No keys.
Exceptionally beautiful natural oak surface (without sealing) with authentic patina.
