19th Century Cherrywood Directoire Chest of Drawers

About the Item

A 19th century classicist cherry wood chest of drawers in the Directoire style. Solid cherry wood and veneered with ribbon inlays on the drawer fronts. Corpus with panels on the sides, rounded corners and three drawers. The front stands on pointed feet with brass reinforcements. With the original handles. Without keys. Dimensions: 90 cm high / 35.4 inch high, 107 cm wide / 42.1 inch wide, 50 cm deep / 19.7 inch deep. Restored to a living room standard. Among other things, the following work was done: Parts of the back wall were replaced and re-glued. Drawers were made open. Fittings cleaned and refitted. Surfaces sanded and polished with shellac.
