Early 20th Century Mahogany Directoire Style Chest of Drawers

About the Item

French commode in the Directoire style. Circa 1st half of the 20th century. Three-bay mahogany veneered corpus with slightly overhanging top plate, sloping pilasters and brass profiled skirting board. All drawers run smoothly and can be locked with a key. Dimensions: 83.5 cm high / 32.9 inch high, 102.5 cm wide / 40.4 inch wide, 44 cm deep / 17.3 inch deep. Restored to a living room standard (including a newly prepared and polished surface, missing brass moulding on the left, added key labels).
