English Inlaid Mahogany Chest on Frame

About the Item

The drawers of this chest on frame have incised cockbeading and are inlaid with satinwood, ribbons, bellflowers, and arabesques. The base has inlaid fans in a scrolled apron. The legs are turned with stylized ionic capitals and terminate in a platform plinth base. The hardware is later.
