A jaw-dropping cabinet from the limited Italian furniture production designed by Allesandro for Baker Furniture, circa 1985. These credenzas are seldom available for sale. Slick exceptionally crafted curvaceous hardwood form with painstaking attention to detail. Stunning hand-painted finish applied over gesso. Sealed in a fabulous factory applied clear lacquer finish. An exquisite focal point for an important room. Excellent restored condition. The cabinet has been professionally cleaned and polished; the finish displays a wonderful depth and luster. Retains the maker mark.

    Located in Atlanta, GA
    An Italian carved and painted wood credenza from the 18th century. This antique cabinet from Italy has a rectangular-shape, with front corners convexly scalloped inward, giving this piece a lovely shaped. The case houses a pair of smaller sized drawers set horizontally at top, above a pair of recessed panel doors at front. The skirting is heavily molded, and this chest is raised upon carved bracket-style feet which give open arch-shaped designs at the underside. The pair of doors open to reveal storage within, and flank a recessed panel at front which is adorn with a carved garland hanging downward within its center.
