About the Item

Baroque secretary desk, Switzerland, 1750. This gorgeous baroque secretary desk stands out for its very pretty walnut veneer. The writing flap opens to an elegant interior with various small drawers and open and secret compartments. The writing surface is decorated with walnut veneer as well. The secretary stands on four cabriole legs and has two drawers on the outside. It has its original bronze fittings. It is in very good refinished condition. The secretary desk ships from Germany and includes shipping costs to Boston.
