Copf Style Cherry Inlay Secretaire Cabinet, ca. 1800

About the Item

Early 19th century hutch, (combination of a writing secretaire and a glass cabinet) in Copf-Style. The pine corpus has a cherry veneer, and has fine wooden inlay decoration. Copf-Style - or in German Zopfstil - markes a stylistic period between 1760 and early 1800s, the transition between Rococo and Classicism.
