Extraordinary Colorful Rococo Style Painted Secretary Cabinet with Chair

About the Item

Custom painted in a striking blue exterior with an electric and contrasting green interior and having a strong form, ornate gilt hinges and pulls, escutcheons (with keys) and Top finials, if you’ve been looking for an Over-The-Top Focal Point, you’ve found it! With a true Theatrical presence intensified by the oversizing of the hinges, pulls and escutcheons, this Secretary would fit right in on a Stage in the Theater District in the City. The Piece actually is very useful with three adjustable top shelves, a Drop-Front writing area with cubbies, drawers and a central door and capacious two-over-two drawers below. The secretary is accompanied by a tall knot-back chair with exaggerated height and has upholstered Blue Velvet seat, the frame in Blue Paint with gilt accent also in the Rococo Style. Condition: Please see all detail photos. The overall condition is very good with some age-related paint and gilt losses, nicks and rubs. The Chair with noticeable paint losses. Despite the wear, the presentation is incredible. The secretary measures 38.75” wide by 19.5” deep by 94” high. The chair measures 46.75” high by 20” wide by 18.75” deep.
