About the Item

It offers a half cylindrical body with a curved demilune form front with a translucent glass door in the center and glass panels on each side. The door offers scalloped detailing on its top and bottom- a design motif that recurs in the piece's apron. Three tableaus are handprinted on the base of the piece. A Arcadian scene involving four seraphs in a pasture surrounded by bucolic woods occupies the center panel, while romanticist forest scenes bookend it on either side.
