Small Louis XVI Style Vitrine with Marquetry, Ormolu Hardware and Marble Top

About the Item

Small size French Louis XVI style display vitrine with marquetry inlay details, decorative fabric interior and marble surface top. The top half of the cabinet features glass sides and locking front door, the lower part a locking drawer and closed cabinet storage area. The upper vitrine space has interior pegs for the addition of a glass shelf if desired. With the exception of a small missing piece of wood veneer at lower front, the cabinet is in very good condition and stands sturdily, ready to display a variety of treasures, or possibly act as a dry bar.
