19th Century Belgian Oak Armoire Cabinet
About the Item
circa 19th century, Belgium.
Crafted out of wonderfully thick timber, this large armoire is nothing short of spectacular. The naturally aged and warm patina with rich graining is visible throughout.
The left-hand door closes with a beautiful hand-forged iron interior latch, while the right-hand door closes with a lock and key. Four interior shelves and a hollow base provides ample storage space. A noteworthy feature is its ability to be broken down completely! After removing the cornice, the doors slide off their hinges, allowing the sides and back to come apart, leaving just the base.
A truly gorgeous and versatile piece of furniture that would make a statement in any room.
