About the Item
circa 1880s, France.
This beautiful hand carved French dessert server would be the perfect piece for an entryway or hallway, or as a stylish bar!
A truly stunning work of art from the French Renaissance period, the carved tabletop lifts up to reveal a folding side support, turning this piece into a unique display piece.
Underneath are two ornately carved drawers, barley twist columns, a middle shelf with a carved scalloped edge, and a lower shelf with carved and beveled edges. Finished with a warm French polish.
