We are delighted to offer for sale this stunning original 1825-1850 Emerald Green painted Antique German Marriage folden linen, wardrobe or pot cupboard with rose head detailing. I have recently purchased a very large collection of these original, antique painted wardrobes and trunks, I have around 15 wardrobes and 20 trunks in total, each one totally different, this sale is for the piece listed above with all others being listed under my other items This one is an exceptionally good looking well made and collectable wardrobe, the hand painted detailing is exquisite throughout, the piece comes complete with the original lock and key which are fully functional. This one has rosehead floral detailing to the top and dates to 1825-1850, there are also planted vase paintings on the front panels Inside you have a larger added multi shelf compartment, as mentioned this can be used for folded linens or pots Condition wise this wardrobe has all the original paint and finish, there will be age and use related patina marks as you would expect, all of which add to the honesty, charm and charisma of the wardrobe Dimensions Height:- 181.5cm Width:- 127cm Depth:- 51.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point.
