Mid-Century Coffee Table

About the Item

This Mid-Century coffee table is from Denmark and made from teak wood. Teak wood is a very strong wood which also repels insects making it ideal for tropical climates. The table is lightweight and sturdy and ideal for smaller rooms. The legs are solid teak, the top is teak veneer over a plywood underlayment. The table has been refinished to matte black, which suits its very minimalist design. Most Scandinavian pieces are various shades of brown, which can be quite tiresome. If you've read this far, you know how dull that can be. In any case, we decided to upgrade the piece and give it a svelte and stylish black suit and a new identity. This was done in-house by our own artists. Sacrilege? We prefer it.
