About the Item
Elegant console side table / altar table with well-preserved original red lacquer.
Freestanding with identical details on the sides.
Originally used in Chinese houses in the welcome room with porcelain vases on.
From Jiangsu Province, China 1830-1840.
It's are called altar tables due to the wings at the end of the table top and family portraits and sent was placed on them to honor desisted family members .
