About the Item
A unique one-off marble console table edition of the Civilization table from British designer Christopher Duffy. This unique marble console table is based on the original 'Petra' design and brought to life using luxurious Emperador marble stone.
An awe-inspiring, sumptuous addition to any room, the Petra console table will be hand-carved bespoke. Each block of marble is hand-selected for every commission and then sculpted using traditional tools and techniques; an enduring tribute to the original historic Wonder that is Petra in Jordan, and a reminder of the power of sculpture as an art form.
This is an exclusive piece from Christopher Duffy for Duffy London. Part of the original limited addition Civilization series which includes works based on the temples at Kailasa (India) and AlUla Hegra (Saudi Arabia)

Duffy London Ltd
Ideas-based modern furniture and collectible design from Christopher Duffy and British design studio Duffy London. Combining art and function, and playing with the concepts of gravity, geography, and optical illusion. We work with a talented team of designers, artisans, and manufacturers to turn these concepts into high-quality pieces of statement furniture and sculpture. Works are divided into six main collections - Abyss, Solo, Megalith, Up! Balloon, Swing, and Meeting Pod. Chris and the studio are constantly innovating and releasing new modern furniture designs Works have featured at Art Basel, Art Miami and 100% Design London. In 2016 Duffy London was a partner for the PAD London 20th Century Design & Decorative Arts Fair. In 2019, a limited edition of the Abyss Coffee Table was acquired by the Musée des Arts Décoratifs at The Louvre in Paris to become part of the permanent National collection. Everything we do is handmade to order and bespoke by skilled craftspeople here in the UK. We only use wood from sustainably managed forests and other eco-friendly building materials and mediums. Chris founded Duffy London in 2002.
Every Civilization table from Duffy London will be produced bespoke from a hand-picked block of marble selected by the customer.
We can produce larger consoles and friezes up to several metres on request.
