Early 19th Century, Walnut Lombard Consolle

About the Item

Elegant console with drawer veneered in blond walnut and polished with two colors on some details in carved solid wood, completed with palmette friezes in gilded bronze. Detail of the structure are the stylized cornucopias that act as supporting columns that connect the drawer top with the base folding towards the wall, this stylistic solution makes the piece of furniture very light stylistically as it seems suspended from the wall. Typical Lombard manufacture of the early 19th century.
