FIRST HALF OF THE 19th CENTURY PAIR OF CARLO X CONSOLLES

About the Item

Elegant pair of half-moon consoles made of fine mahogany and walnut wood, with carved details and ebonized profiles. The top, also curved, is in fine white Carrara marble, supported by legs sculpted in the shape of fantastic creatures. The back also features a graceful zither-shaped profile. These elegant and sophisticated consoles, with small dimensions, are perfect for embellishing a living room or entrance with class and style. Typical Tuscan workmanship, perhaps from Livorno and with Anglo-Saxon influences, dating back to the first half of the 19th century, which can be classified in the Charles X period.
