Modern Sculptural Console Table in Polished Stainless Steel
About the Item
Serenity is a new single-piece console table by Christopher Duffy for Duffy London that appears to defy gravity, toying with visual perspective in a playful three-dimensional trompe l’oeil. An invigorating addition to any hallway, concourse or living room.
A series of geometric block appear balanced one on top of the other, creating a single, harmonious moment from an otherwise perilous and inevitable dance.
Inspired by Japanese rock gardens and cairn stones, Serenity aims to offer pause for thought and reflection, freshening the mind and imbuing its’ immediate surrounds with a momentary sense of calm.
The Serenity console table is formed from three distinct blocks, each one made of powder-coated mild steel, or highly polished stainless steel to create a mirrored reflective surface.
Serenity is offered in two finishes: matte and mirror. Bespoke sizing and colour options are available on request.
This is a unique edition piece with a mirror-polished stainless steel finish to the table-top.

Duffy London Ltd
Ideas-based modern furniture and collectible design from Christopher Duffy and British design studio Duffy London. Combining art and function, and playing with the concepts of gravity, geography, and optical illusion. We work with a talented team of designers, artisans, and manufacturers to turn these concepts into high-quality pieces of statement furniture and sculpture. Works are divided into six main collections - Abyss, Solo, Megalith, Up! Balloon, Swing, and Meeting Pod. Chris and the studio are constantly innovating and releasing new modern furniture designs Works have featured at Art Basel, Art Miami and 100% Design London. In 2016 Duffy London was a partner for the PAD London 20th Century Design & Decorative Arts Fair. In 2019, a limited edition of the Abyss Coffee Table was acquired by the Musée des Arts Décoratifs at The Louvre in Paris to become part of the permanent National collection. Everything we do is handmade to order and bespoke by skilled craftspeople here in the UK. We only use wood from sustainably managed forests and other eco-friendly building materials and mediums. Chris founded Duffy London in 2002.
